Easter History hw

1)How did the colonists unite America?
The colonists brought out the war of independence with Britain and then the colonists proclaimed The Declaration of Independence to unite the America.

2)How did the legislature take part in the structure of the federal government?
The legislature included Congress, the Senate and the House of Representatives. Congress made laws and could impeach the President, the Senate stood for the States, and the House of Representatives stood for the people's interests in the States.

3)How did the American Revolution happen?
The colonists were discontent with Britain's economic policy and they thought the policy was not fair, they wanted to trade freely, So they started a revolution.

4)Why did the people in the Enlightenment object to absolute power?
The Enlightenment thinkers had more education and they thought of a lot of new ideas. They wanted to end all the unfair things and defended common people's rights in the Feudalism society, so the Enlightment thinkers objected to absolute power.

5)Explain one of the British acts that created economic discontent amongst the American colonists.
Britain got cheap raw materials and a big market for her goods from the 13 Colonies, but Britain didn't let the 13 colonies produce things that would contend with her goods. The colonists thought that was not fair. That was one of the British acts that created economic discontent amongst the American colonists.
